First of all I am THANKFUL for the 24 hours I am given every day!...but if I had a wish list at the top of my list would be a request for MORE TIME for those things I am most passionate about! There are 10 million things I need to do at once as we begin the countdown to The Bump Experiment in November 2009! So Just In Case I don't get extra hours in the days ahead YOU can help by telling EVERYONE you know about The BUMP EXPERIMENT!

In the next few weeks the website will continue to change and grow! It will be very exciting to see our experiment grow as people around the world BUMP IT UP! Plz don't hesitae to call your local radio staion or tv station and ASK THEM to spread the word as well!

As soon as I got on the ship I immediately put BUMP IT UP)! magnets all over my cabin door. before you knew it people were wondering what The Bump Experiment was all about and of course I was more than happy to share the mission of our experiment. soon there were magnets on LOTS of doors on cabins everywhere! Thx for all who wore t-shirts and wristbands sharing our message!

While in the islands I met LOTs of peiople and passed out lots of magnets! Thx to channel 12 in the Virgin Islands for letting us share our message!

On the next to the last day I pariticipated in the Susan G Komen Walk for the Cure! Lots of BUMPERS participated!

Well it is finally HERE! The Bump Experiment is in its first stages of being launched here in Atlanta! Over the next three weeks magnets and info about The Bump Experiment will be sent to various media outlets from local television; radio; and newspaper outlets. Let's hope everyone is as passionate about this cause as we are!!!

Magnets are being placed all over the city so we can get everyone's attention! Of course I am driving all over the city in my truck COVERED always with magnets!

How can you help? Tell EVERYONE you know about The Bump Experiment!  To date over 150,000 people have heard the message of our experiment!!! We need MILLIONS! November 2, 2009 is almost a year away now and there is much to do. Tell a a friend a day about TBE. Get a magnet and display it on your car!

The Bump Experiment is the collective vehicle for all that is good in our world and together we far outweigh all the bad through our efforts no matter what it is we do to make this world  abetter place!

I pulled up to a Quick Trip station today to fill up my gas tank as I would need it as I am having to work over the Labor Day weekend much to my dismay! The good thing about that I reminded myself was the fact that at least I wouldn't have to deal with Atlanta traffic while I was out working all over the city!

Then I met Naomi! She saw my truck covered in BUMP IT UP! magnets and asked me what it meant. Of course I was off and running thentelling her about all we hope for with TBE! I gave her a magnet and she put it on her car and promised to spread the word.

Then I asked about her only to find out she had been laid off from her job , but was going to be starting another soon. ONLY right now "things were tight. REALLY TIGHT!" Haven't we all been in this situation at sometime in our lives.

As I finished our conversation and was about to leave I told her to hold on just a moment. I put a couple of gift cards from Starbucks in an envelope because everyone needs a treat now and then  and added some momey to help with the weekend. Only I told her not to open it until I left. I love "hit and runs."

There are lots of Naomi's out there, but today there is one less at least for the weekend! As I drove away I thought to myself, " I am thankful I have I have the opportunity TO WORK this weekend and Monday!

Hi Everyone! Sorry it's been a little while since the last blog! I will be posting alot more frequently as things pick up in the fall. Right now I am trying to lay the groundwork for the experiment itself. The launch for Atlanta will be taking place in early fall. After speaking with people in the media several who are BUMPERS told me we would get our best publicity as we approach the one year prior to The Bump Experiment. So get ready for late Sept and early October as we launch here in Atlanta and then beyond!

I spent about two hours today  in a local shopping center parking lot. You would not believe the crowd the BUMPMOBILE drew. It really catches peoples attention when your truck is COVERED with bright orange magnets! It's amazing how many people just  immediately put the magnets on their cars after hereing about our experiment!

I am presently trying to catch up on hundreds of emails so please be patient! I'm still shipping magnets and wristbands all over the nation as well as the world. Thank you Ireland and Japan for your interest.

Currently i am working on The Bump Foundation Inc website. look for it to debute in the next FEW weeks or sooner! Hope you will join as it will help advance and fund the experiment.

Sorry for the break in blogging but I took a little time off for vacation though the state of Nevada has LOTS of BUMP IT UP! magnets driving around now!!

The foundation work is complete and I am now working on a webpage for it to further the cause of The Bump Experiment and eventually several other very worthy organizations! Look for details soon about it and how you can participate and help the foundation grow!

The initial information packets are going out to FINALLY get The Bump Experiment launched here in Atlanta. Will share more this weekend about details!

Last Saturday Sari, a local DJ on KICKS Country 101.5, celebrated her 30th birthday by asking friends to bring a gently worn pocketbook or purse to her party to be donated to DRESS FOR SUCCESS. This prganization helps disadvantaged women get back on their feet by providing them with professional attire for work and additional training for the workplace.

At the party Sari received about 250 pocketbooks. When I learned of this BUMPER'S birthday mission I decided all of us other Bumpers could probably help her out and BOY DID YOU GUYS!!
The Bump Experiment presented SARI with an additional 230 pocketbooks and purese! pretty INCREDIBLE gift for about 17 days of collecting! Thank you BEV; JOEY;PAM and FRIENDS; Craig's Dental Office and the PT group next door; MARION; KIM; EMILY and FRIENDS; ALL MY CLIENTS; PAULA; and a BIG THANK YOU to MY MOM and SISTER and THE FARMVILLE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH! My hometown church sent over 140 pocketbooks which is incredible! Thank you to my mom and sister who kept going to the post office and spending their time and money getting them here! The same goes for the rest of you who did the same. Thanks for taking the time to care about others! That's what this experiment is all about! SARI wanted me to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, and THANK YOU for making her birthday wish a HUGE SUCCESS!

You guys are the best and one of the many reasons people will take notice of The Bump Experiment and realize how affirming it is to help each other out!

What an amazing 24 hours it has been for The Bump Experiment! The You Tube video has grown by over 111,000 views in that short of time! That is an amazing number of views and people to hear and see what The Bump Experiment is all about. 99% of the response has been incredibley positive and supportive. Always with the good there will be the not so good and I will eave the not so good comments so you can see there are people who do not see all the good there is in this  nation and the world for many reasons. Lots of people are hurting out there and have had not so great life experiences along the way. Sorry guys if I seem a little too chipper or passionate at times, but I DO BELIEVE in the potential good in everyone and everything! One comment was..."SEEMS like you believe there can be a perfect world! Get real!" A perfect world maybe not, but I do believe each of us can make our nation and world a much BETTER place to live in.

Life is about choices and thank you to all of you BUMPERS for choosing to make this a better world to live!!!
